The main event of Reventón El Paso, its traditional and dreaded Marathon. The longest race in its program offers its participants a spectacular diversity of contrasts. The athletes of the championship will have to overcome very technical areas on the summits, and then go through very fast trails in lower areas. During its course they will find trails that cross the typical Canary pine forest, to then pass drastically to volcanic landscapes, thus changing the scenery for the athletes. A race that has the privilege of running through the Caldera de Taburiente National Park and the Cumbre Vieja Natural Park, so the athletes will step just a few meters away from the area affected by the newest volcano in Europe.
A 47,390 meters circular race that starts and ends in El Paso. With a total cumulative elevation gain of 5,124 meters, runners will have seven refreshment points.
